From the Manufacturer DERNORD KF-25 vacuum valve is made of stainless steel 304 and has a 1/4 turn manual lever handle.This quick ball valve can be taken apart,and the two PTFE (Teflon) seals offer excellent corrosion resistance for most applications. DERNORD clamp ball valve is used to connect or cut off the medium flow in the vacuum (pressure) system.Wiping action of the teflon across the ball reduces particulate buildup, making this valve robust in particulate rich effluent streams.Vacuum valves are commonly used in vacuum, dairy products, wine, biological engineering, food, pharmaceutical, beverage, cosmetics and chemical fields.
